Appleton Brooks collection
Claywash draws on limewashed plaster, hand-applied trowel marks and the warmth of raw clay. Fine shifts in tone and softly imperfect movement give the surface a tactile, almost hand-finished quality, while selected reliefs introduce quiet shadow and texture rather than overt pattern.
The palette moves from chalky neutrals through clay and terracotta into muted green, blue and charcoal. It feels relaxed and organic, balancing the irregularity of handmade surfaces with a cleaner, more architectural expression.

↓The palette
Mist is the palest, chalkiest Claywash tone; Earth brings a soft clay-neutral; Biscuit adds warmth; Terrene moves into terracotta; and Woodland introduces a muted natural green. Harbour and Shadow take the same softly worked character into blue and charcoal. Earth is also the most developed part of the range, with relief and decorative pieces that deepen the trowelled surface through line, shadow and repetition.
