Merevale porcelain tile texture with timber shelf, art book and sculptural object

Appleton Brooks collection

Merevale

Merevale takes its cues from the fractured, mineral character of natural rock. Fine grains, larger fragments and traces of pigment move irregularly across the porcelain surface, creating areas of intricate detail that give way to quieter passages. Up close, the pattern is richly layered; across a room, it settles into a subtle, continuous field.

That balance makes Merevale especially effective alongside timber, plaster and clean architectural lines. It brings the visual presence of stone to floors and walls without overwhelming the space.
